Bewdley Big Top

Featuring Candy Cane Walkway, Crazy Golf, Wacky Face Holes Photo Ops and Fun Games

As part of the Christmas Switch On event on Saturday 2 December opening at 12 noon is the Bewdley Big Top, a fantastical Christmas marquee packed with entertainment, fun and games. Walk down the candy cane and tree lined route that takes you to a magical playground where you can pose with the penguin and elves face hole photo characters.

There are Christmas games featuring ‘Knock ‘em down’ Elf and Santa Chuck or take your chance at making a hole in one playing the Christmas Crazy Mini Golf Course. Before you leave the winter wonderland don’t forget to take a seat on Santa’s Sleigh and say hello to his reindeer friends.

All Children under 10 go away with a lucky dip prize. Also featured are The Bewdley Community Stocking display – schools, community group and other local organisations are asked to join in and take part in a mass Christmas Stocking Decorating Competition. Choose your favourite from those who have taken part. The Mayor will judge the entries and there is a winner for the 3 best stockings. Collect your stocking by 17 November for return by 27 November.

Traders have also been called upon to decorate Christmas trees which will be featured in the Bewdley Big Top on the 2 December and then displayed thereafter throughout the Christmas period in St Anne’s Church up to 20 December.
