 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

 

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 

NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT ON THE B4195 STOURPORT ROAD, BEWDLEY (“THE HIGHWAY”)

 

Reason for restriction: Safe working during customer network connection. 

 

Restriction: a 30 mph speed limit.

 

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of B4195 Stourport Road at a speed exceeding 30 mph from its junction with Sandbourne Lane (NSG ref. 45703049) to its junction with A456 Bewdley Bypass for 122 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

  1. No speed limit imposed by this Notice applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with Regulation 3(5) of those regulations.

 

  1. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days. However it is anticipated that it will remain force for 4 days commencing on 28 May 2024.

 

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
