ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF DERWENT DRIVE, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Burst water mainThere is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U10210 Coniston Way to its junction with U10204 Newton Close.

This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 days (24 hrs daily) commencing 1 August 2023.

Alternative routes: – U10210 Coniston Way, U10211 Ellesmere Drive, U10207 Laxton Drive and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
