Flooding Update 03/02/2021

Showers are expected during Tuesday afternoon and scattered showers throughout the following two days with high totals at the top of the catchment. Confidence in this forecast is currently low.

The rain that does fall will land on already saturated catchments and could elevate already high river levels which remain sensitive to further rainfall.

The current situation is represented in the table above. River levels at many locations have now peaked following last week’s rainfall

The latest Flood Guidance Statement is yellow for Worcestershire and Gloucestershire for the next five days with a medium likelihood of ongoing minor river flooding impacts. The barriers at Severnside Bewdley are still in place.
