ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF SANDY BANK, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)
Reason for restriction: Sewer works. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-
- The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with B4190 Welch Gatefor a distance of 65 metres in a westerly direction.
- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 7 days commencing 7 December 2021.
- Alternative routes: – B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, U10512 Merricks Lane,
U10511 Wyre Hilland vice versa.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
