Operational barriers; Hereford, Frankwell phases 1-4, Coleman except for road closure. Ironbridge phases 1 & 2. Bewdley phase 1 & phase 2. Waterside, New Street and Dunn’s Lane gates all closed. Hylton Road barriers deployed Tuesday evening (02/01/2024).

Levels at Worcester are expected to remain high for the next few days in an extended peak. Gloucester is peaking now.

Over the last 24hrs we have generally seen <2mm of rainfall over the area as a whole. The only exception is in the far south of the patch where up to 9mm was recorded.

Forecast rainfall totals for today to Sunday:

  • Friday rainfall totals are expected to be moderate, with average totals of 2-5mm, with up to 10-15mm in places.
  • Saturday and Sunday – very low average rainfall totals of 1-3mm.
